Because of her commitment to excellence, state of the
art dentistry, and
personalized attention to patients, Dr. Bonnie M. Beamer has been
awarded the
honor of being named one of Washington’s Best Dentists by her
fellow dentists in a
poll published in the Washingtonian Magazine.
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan
State University, graduating with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude & Phi
Beta Kappa). She then went
on to the University of Michigan for her general dental degree. After
graduation she served six years as general dental officer in the
United States Army
where she held the positions of Preventive Dentistry Officer, Continuing
Education Officer and Chief of Operative Dentistry.
After leaving the Army, Dr. Beamer completed post-doctoral training
in
Periodontology at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Upon graduation
she moved to Washington, DC, where she has used her unique general
dental and
periodontal experience to create an exceptional periodontal practice.
